Where: Otis Pond, Groveton Gun Clun
When: June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
From the Scoutmaster:
The Groveton Fishing Derby is on Sunday from 9:00 am till noon so we wont be breaking camp until about 1:00pm….
1: Everyone brings a foil Packet dinner for Friday night (Scouts and Adults)
2: Scouts will be working on their Wilderness Survival Training Badge and should bring
Fire starters – Troop will Supply
Compass – Troop will Supply
Whistle – Troop will Supply
Signal Mirror – Troop will Supply
Garbage Bag – This should be a large green bag
(These items should be stored in a gallon zip lock bag)
3: Scouts should also bring their Scout Books (also in a zip lock bag to keep it clean and dry) so that I can sign off on their achievements….
4: Scouts should bring Insect Repellent and sunscreen (and plan to use them) The Mosquito’s and Black flies are bad in our neck of the woods….
5: Committee Members, we are not able (due to such a full calendar) to schedule a regular meeting until July 11th (following the Scout Round Table @ 7:00 PM) (Location TBD), but almost everyone will be the Camp Out this weekend and it seems a shame not to use the opportunity…So lets see if we can’t take some time Friday evening to get started. (Weather Permitting) We have three pop ups so it should be feasible.
A happy Troop runs with good planning and foresight and we really should start laying out a plan to guide our SPL so that he can get with the boys and chart their course for the next year!
6: Adult Menu for Camp

Note: Everyone should bring a little money for lunch, I understand the Club cooks hamburgers and hotdogs for the fishing derby!
